Vibrant pink and red colors dominate the blooms in the foreground, highlighted against a cooler, pale background. Brushstrokes give the flowers a dynamic and textured appearance, suggesting a lively and cheerful atmosphere.
The original photograph was captured during the Tulip Festival in the Dallas Arboretum, Dallas, Texas. I used a Nikon camera and lens and added a painterly overlay.
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.
